Client logs into cloud connection, and using Word When right clicking on a suggested misspelled word, option to add to dictionary is greyed out. Anyway to correct this option. It works on my connection. Issue has been resolved. DIC the default dictionary. Made a copy of all the previously selected word from the Roamingcustom. DIC location. Closed Office and reopened the program.
Reopened the test document, which now the option to add to dictionary was no longer greyed out and was usable. I don't have access to administer the network to verify, policies. This has stopped working for the user within the last couple weeks. They are a cloud client, and ince the new network was put into place the help desk lost the ability to administer the, only management change make changes. I would think that being a cloud client they would have some rather strict policies in place.
If it is a multi tenant environment - for sure going to be an issue! I would start there as you don't have admin rights. Edward, I Tried your method, and previously without success, and also verified that both the default and custom. I was able to log in with the help desk account and had no issue with adding word to the dictionary. CA-RT, Checked on security permissions, and it looks like there isn't any issue with that aspect.
